Zamfara Rep member Wedding 105 orphans Who Lost Parents to Banditry

Zamfara APC member representing Maru /Bungidu Federal Constituency, AbdulMalik Zubairu has weeded 105 orphans that lost their parents to the activities of banditry and other crimes in the state.
Speaking at the weeding ceremony the member said the idea was counselled considering how security challenge ravage villages and towns in the constituents and Zamfara as whole.
“We must do everything within our capacity to address the humanitarian crisis bordering our communities, we are registering orphans and widows every day.” He said
“The emergency situation of the state needs the commitment of all and sundress and multidimensional approach.
“In achieving this within my one year representing the constituency I succeeded in sponsoring 21bills that have pass the second reading.
He also said to address socioeconomic challenges of the state and constituency in particular 210 hand pun borehole were provided, scholarship was awarded to 5000 orphans and vulnerable children.
He said many hospitals and schools were constructed and reconstructed, 10,000 women were empowered under various skills accusation programs,
And now 105 orphans were weeded, in addition to the weeding materials such as Bed, Set of Chairs, Kitchen wires among others, each bride was give N100,000 as capital while the groom ware given N50,000 to support their businesses
Also speaking at the event Sen. Sulaiman Kawo Sumaila, called on scholar to investigate issues before preaching to public.
It is a source of concern the way and manner some scholars handle the issue of gay marriage bill contrary to the lead down procedure of National assembly and the Nigeria constitution
He said the national assembly were in no way taking steps toward making such matter reality in the country.
He commended the lawmaker for the laudable project and urged him to sustain the tempo.
