Monarch Challenges Governors To Utilize Palliatives Meant To Masses In Nigeria
Governors have been challenged to design a holistic economic empowerment initiatives aimed at mitigating the untold hardships and sufferings being experienced by the masses for the common man to have a sense of direction.
An APC chieftain Alhaji Sunusi Baban Takko made the remark in Bauchi while commenting on the performance of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration’s one year in office.

Sunusi Baban Takko insisted that lack of deliberate efforts to juduciously utilize the federal government’s resources meant for palliatives to citizens, welfare for civil servants by increasing their salary schemes as well as social intervention programs inline with president Tinubu’s renewed hope Agenda.
According him state governors should therefore prioritize on investment on intensive human capital development , agriculture, youth and women economic useful ventures, nothing that the move would no doubt bring about sustainable economic growth and end object poverty among the downtrodden.

The Baraya of Bauchi also called on president Tinubu to hasten the completion of the nation’s refineries, provide special intervention on livestock and agro allied local industries to boost food processing in the country, pointing out that banning the exportation of farm produce by the federal government is apt so as to ensure food security in the country.
He opined that emphasis should be given to the revamping of indigenous industries and direct community based micro projects to pave way for improved livelihood condition, saying that the present administration should form a special representatives in the 36 states to further oversee and coordinate numerous Intervention programs of the federal government .
Baban Takko lauded the giant stride of anti corruption crusade of the federal government , the ongoing road construction projects across the country which according to him are essential towards the socio economic wellbeing of Nigerians
